Outdoor digital signage protection specialists Armagard Enclosures supplied a variety of customer and standard digital signage enclosures to protect signage and dsiplays from the throngs crowding London venues for this year’s Summer Olympic Games, according to a company announcement.
Armagard enclosures could be found in three high profile locations across London, The Mall, The Olympic Park and the newly constructed Emirates Air Line cable car.
Organizers installed eight 42-inch LCD enclosures along the famous Mall road running from Buckingham Palace to Admiralty Arch to display TV and event information during the running and cycling events.
The Olympic Park area, which was completely renovated for the 2012 Games, used five enclosures for a specialized image booth which photographed visitors with the entire Olympic stadium behind them.
